Serious Injury Collision (Hit and Run)

Synopsis:
The suspect, a 39 yr. old female driver was traveling northbound on 7400 Blix Street when she struck a parked vehicle. The victim, a 61 yr. old male and owner of the parked vehicle was standing next to his vehicle when it was struck. The victim was struck by his vehicle as it was pushed sideways during the collision. The victim was knock to the ground and sustained an abrasion to his forehead and paralysis from his chest down.

The suspect drove to her residence eight houses away and went inside. The victim was transported to a local hospital to be treated for his injuries.

The suspect was taken into custody a short time later, alcohol is a factor. San Diego Police Traffic unit will be handling.
