Congratulations to 2013 James Madison High School graduate Ian Clarkin who was chosen by the New York Yankees in the first round of the MLB Draft.
Clarkin a hard throwing lefty (90-94) with a crafty curve ball is already getting a taste of big league experience. Soon after graduating from high school, he was off to Tampa to begin working out at the Yankee training facilities.
Here’s wishing Ian the best of luck making his way through the system and hopefully in the Big Leagues in the not too distant future.
