San Diego Police Investigate Homicide in the Bay Ho Neighborhood

On Sunday, October 13, 2019, at 11:41 a.m., the San Diego Police Department
Communications Center received a call requesting officers check the welfare of a woman living at 5707 Santa Fe Drive, Space #A9. (Santa Fe Park RV Resort) The reporting party arrived at this location to notify the woman that her boyfriend had committed suicide by jumping from the Coronado Bridge the day before on October 12th.

The woman was not answering phone calls or the front door prompting the call to police.
San Diego Police officers arrived on scene and eventually made entry into the RV. Once inside, they discovered the body of a female with trauma to the upper body. She was pronounced deceased at the scene. There was no sign of forced entry. The victim has not been identified however, she appears to be a Hispanic female in her twenties.

San Diego Police Homicide detectives were called to the scene and are currently investigating the incident and will determine if the death of the female is related to the suicide of the boyfriend.
