PR:San Diego Metropolitan Transit System (MTS) bus and Trolley services will operate primarily on a Sunday schedule on Thursday, Nov. 24, and most service will return to a regular weekday schedule on Friday, Nov. 25.
Thursday, Nov. 24 (Thanksgiving Day): All Trolley lines, Rapid, urban, and local bus routes will operate on a Sunday schedule. No service will be provided on Rapid Express Routes 280 or 290, Sorrento Valley COASTER Connection, most Express bus routes or the Vintage Trolley (Silver Line). MTS Access subscriptions are cancelled on Thanksgiving. Subscription passengers who still want service must call to arrange their transportation.
Friday, Nov. 25: All Trolley lines and MTS urban and local bus routes will operate normal weekday schedules. Rapid Express Routes 280 and 290 will operate on a modified service schedule with decreased frequency.
Customer Service: The Transit Store, Compass Card, MTS Information & Trip Planning, and Customer Service offices will all close at 5 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 23 and remain closed on Thanksgiving Day. Customers who need MTS information on Thursday can visit the website (www.sdmts.com), or download the mobile app, OneBusAway.
The offices will reopen on Friday, Nov. 25 with regular business hours.
