Moraga Ave Roundabouts Funded

There was an interesting announcement last night at the Clairemont Community Planning Group (CCPG) regarding Moraga Avenue.
The roundabouts which were proposed, then scrapped, then brought up again have now been funded according to James McGuirk the council rep for Councilmember Lorie Zapf.

McGuirk informed those in attendance that Gary Pence the City of San Diego Traffic Engineer has found the money to fund the project for fiscal year 2017.

Funding is one step actual design and implementation has not yet been determined.  The City will be back before the CCPG to present to the board and the public when drawings/renderings are complete.  Stay tuned for this to be an item on a future CCPG agenda.

On a similar note two V Calm Signs were recently installed on Moraga one on the North & One on the South another effort to curb speeders on this busy street.
