Marzipan, a 1-year-old Labrador Retriever mix, is looking for a new best friend. When she first entered her care, she was incredibly shy and fearful when she was first transferred into our care with three other dogs. Sweet Marzipan has made marked progress while in our care, impressing her caretakers and winning their hearts, too. She loves running around and playing with her toys and balls in our play yard – you’d think she was a puppy with how she romps and frolics! And once familiar with people and her surroundings, she is quite affectionate and eager to offer her wiggly wagging tail.
Marzipan will need a special home, where she can be given plenty of time to acclimate and adjust, as well as the patience and training she needs for continued success. She would also do best as the only pet in the home, as other animals seem to increase her anxiety. If only given the chance, we just know that Marzipan and that sweet & sensitive heart of hers will bring a lifetime of love to some special adopter out there. Is it you?
Her adoption fee includes her spay, current vaccinations, permanent microchip identification, 30 days of complimentary medical insurance from Trupanion insurance, a certificate for a free veterinary exam, and a license if residing in Oceanside, Vista, Escondido, San Marcos or Poway!
