Type: Felony Hit and Run
Synopsis: A male was driving a silver 2001 Chrysler van east on Balboa Avenue. A 38 year old male riding a scooter was also traveling east on Balboa Avenue. The van drove behind and struck the scooter. The driver of the scooter was thrown onto the van and carried a short distance. The van stopped at the intersection of Balboa Avenue and Mt. Everest Boulevard. The driver of the van fled the scene on foot. The driver of the scooter sustained a large laceration on his head and was transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Traffic Division is investigating.
