The City of San Diego has chosen 16 libraries for a pilot study about what works and does not work with our local library system.  The nearest branches they are surveying are Linda Vista, Serra Mesa, Tierrasanta, OB & PB.

Our local Council Member Chris Cate has an update on the Senior Center, formerly LiveWell & District 7 Council Member Scott Sherman has an interesting piece on El Nino preparations (p10).

Due to the unusual weather patterns we are having there is a new invasive weed taking over find out more on (p13).

Our very own CT “Squaremont” Contributor Bill Swank has just published his 10th book right in time for the Christmas holiday approaching (p9).

Longtime supporter and advocate for this paper Daniel Smiechowski shares his Viewpoint on a school naming issue which has been in the news recently (p10).

Of course, this issue would not be complete without the San Diego Chowhound visiting a long time local established Clairemont restaurant (p12)
