Clairemont Church Takes to the Streets, Cleans up Medians

by Eddie McCoven

Clairemont Lutheran Church / Iglesia Luterana Clairemont organized another volunteer day to clean up overgrown medians in the surrounding community.

“The members of Clairemont Lutheran Church want to be good community partners with our neighbors, and when we see an issue in the area that affects people we decided to do something about it,” says Angela Jackson, church administrator at Clairemont Lutheran Church. “We will do what we can to make Clairemont look nice as people drive around town.”

Church members cut down weeds and grass in the medians on Genesee Ave. between Bannock Ave. and Mt. Herbert Ave.
