Attempt Bank Robbery

A white male suspect walked to the Wells Fargo Bank inside the Vons. He grabbed a store basket and put it on the counter. He had his hand wrapped with a bag and pointed it at the bank teller simulating he had a gun and demanded money. The teller just stared at the suspect and did not say anything or move. When the teller did not do anything the suspect left the store. There was no loss. The suspect walked out to the parking lot and got into the passenger side of a waiting vehicle. The vehicle left in an unknown direction. The vehicle was described as a white or silver Ford Explorer with Pacific Honda paper plates on it. The suspect was described as a white male, in his late 20’s, 6’0. 170 lbs., brown hair and thin. He was wearing a dark blue or black hoodie. San Diego Police Robbery Detectives are investigating.
