Apparent Murder-Suicide in Linda Vista via SDPD

On December 7, 2020, just after 3:15 a.m., the San Diego Police
Communications Center received a call reporting that 2 people had been shot inside a
residence at 2200 Crandall Drive in Lind Vista.

Officers from the San Diego Police Department’s Western Division arrived at the location
and discovered a male and female down inside the home. Both had sustained apparent
gunshot wounds to their upper bodies. Officers provided first aid until relieved by San
Diego Fire-Rescue personnel. Both people were transported to a local hospital.
Unfortunately, the female succumbed to her injuries and was pronounced deceased. The
male was placed on life support, but was not expected to survive his injuries.

San Diego Police Homicide detectives were called to the scene and are currently
investigating the incident. As the investigation continues, detectives have learned that
the deceased female is the mother of the injured male. Both were residents of the home
on Crandall Drive.

The deceased female has been identified as 46 year-old Hue Le.

On the evening of December 8, 2020, the injured male succumbed to what appear to be
self-inflicted injuries. He has been identified as 28 year-old Justin Le.

The case is being investigated as an apparent murder-suicide.
