How You Can Help Define the Future of Transit in San Diego

Transit Officials Hold First Public Forum Asking Community to Help Define the Future of Transit in San Diego

What:

Elevate SD 2020 Public Forum

Why:

Public transit has the ability to help solve our housing and mobility challenges, meet our goals for air quality and climate action plans, and provide real choices for residents to move throughout the region.

The Metropolitan Transit System (MTS) will be asking residents to help craft the vision for transit in San Diego through a series of community forums throughout the agency’s service territory. The first forum will be held in National City on Thursday.

Community forums are open to the public. They are designed to create a dialogue about values, and provide opinions about how to best improve the current state of transit in San Diego. The forums will be just one way the public can weigh in over the next several months as MTS works toward developing a possible ballot measure in 2020

When:

Tonight: Thursday, June 6 6pm

Where:

South County Regional Education Center

800 National City Blvd.

National City, CA

Note there will be a community forum on June 12th at The Linda Vista Library from 6-7:15pm
