The MCAS Miramar Fire Department will be conducting a prescribed burn at the rifle range in East Miramar during daytime hours on Saturday, June 20.
This prescribed burn is in support of the Station’s annual vegetation management program to reduce wildfire risk.
Smoke will be visible from freeway corridors and to local communities during this time. As with all prescribed burns, Go/No Go will be dependent on weather conditions that day.
