“I am pleased to announce 51 new recruits have been selected to attend the 105th Regional Police Academy. This group of individuals has journeyed through an extensive hiring process and is now poised to begin the next chapter in becoming San Diego Police Officers.
This academy class of 51 is one of the largest to date and has a remarkable break down of diversity. (43%) of the class are women, (64%) of the class is comprised of minorities and women, (84%) have a college degree, (17%) have served in the military, and (29%) are bilingual speakers.
