Night Work for Underground Utility Location Beginning on Clairemont Dr. and Sherman St.

    Via City of San Diego Starting on Sunday, Jan. 22, crews will begin working at night to locate utilities under the street. Traffic control will be in place to provide crews with a safe space to work. Crews will be removing traffic control elements each morning after the night shift ends, so the roadway will be open during the day. Businesses and residents will have access to their driveways if they’re located within the work zone during night work hours.
    Please follow the posted signage in the area for your safety.
    Crews will be working at the following locations:
    • On Sherman St. between Custer St. and Morena Blvd.
    • At the intersection of Clairemont Dr. and Clairemont Mesa Blvd.
    • At the intersection of Clairemont Dr. and Balboa Ave.
    • At the intersection of Clairemont Dr. and Iroquois Ave.
    Nighttime working hours are from 9:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. Typical noise associated with construction is to be expected.
