On Saturday, November 23, 2019, for the first time, San Diego Mesa College Olympians (7-3) will host the Patriotic Bowl and face the El Camino College Warriors (6-4). The Bowl game is scheduled for a 6:00p.m. kickoff at Mesa College Merrill Douglas Stadium.
“In 2017, the Olympians hosted – and won – the Southern California Bowl,” stated Head Coach Gary Watkins. “Our Olympians have trained hard and played exceptionally this season to earn their spot in the Patriotic Bowl. We hope the community is proud of our student-athletes and we are grateful for the support that we have received.”
Students, faculty, staff and members of the community are invited to attend the game. The first 50 attendees will receive a free Mesa College stadium cushion. Tickets are $12.00 for GA/adults, $8.00 for students, faculty, staff and children, and free for military. Parking is free. Concessions/snack bar will be open beginning at 5:00 p.m. for the purchase of food, candy and drinks. Commemorative bowl game t-shirts will also be available for purchase. All concession stands are operated by Mesa College student-athletes as fundraisers for various sports programs.
