A 58 year old female bicyclist was riding her bike W/B 3000 Garnet Avenue. She struck a steel plate that was placed in the roadway while a road improvement procedure was underway.
The bicyclist lost control and was thrown from her bike.
She was transported to a local hospital where it was discovered she suffered from a non-life threating brain bleed injury.
Traffic Division is investigating.
