Gracie, a 25-year-old Thoroughbred, is looking for a Companion Home.

This beautiful girl was transferred from another shelter. She has spent the last few years at a retirement center, where she helped people learn how to ride. Now that she is a bit older, she doesn’t move as easily as she used to.

She can buck and play on her own just as well as younger horses, but she is no longer rideable and is looking for a Companion Home only.

Gracie can be your best friend and companion for you and other horses. She gets along well with other horses, as long as she can “rule the roost.”

This beautiful girl would love to spend her golden years sharing her sweet nature with a loving family.

Gracie is available for adoption at San Diego Humane Society’s Escondido Campus at 3450 East Valley Parkway. To learn more about making her part of your family, please call (760) 888-2275 or email livestock@sdhumane.org.
