Thank you for your interest in the new supportive housing community that we are proposing at 5858 Mt. Alifan Drive in Clairemont.
This development is still in the early concept stage, with many decisions yet to be made. What we are certain of is our goal: to create a high-quality community of approximately 52 safe, secure and affordable apartments for people who have been homeless – or are at risk of homelessness – where they have access to onsite services that help them live stable, productive lives.
We have received a great deal of input over the last few weeks and we understand that you want to know more about our plans. We’ve put together everything we know so far into a fact sheet (CLICK HERE), which goes through the development details that have been worked out at this early concept stage and also provides answers to the questions we have received from community members.
Our team is aware there has been a great deal of misinformation circulating about this development. Please know that at this point, any information about Mt. Alifan Apartments that does not come from our team is likely to be speculation, and may not be based on fact.
We plan to launch a website to keep community members informed about the development and we’ll email and post updates as they happen. In the meantime, if you have additional questions, please send them to mtalifan@wakelandhdc.com
If you would like to discuss your question with one of our team members, please let us know your phone number and the best time to call you back.
We hope to work constructively with neighbors and we’re committed to an open dialogue. We welcome your questions and your input.
Sincerely,
The Mt. Alifan Apartments Team:
