Farm-to-fork eatery’s second location opens in Bay Park!

pr Filling Bay Park’s niche for farm-to-fork fare, Farmer’s Table is bringing innovative spins on time-tested favorites to the area’s growing culinary scene, adding a second location to its original outpost in La Mesa. Housed in a 3,500 square-foot space located along Clairemont Drive, the location is both highly-anticipated and expected to become an inevitable dining staple for Bay Park’s foodies.

Successful restaurateurs and innovative thinkers Alberto Morreale and Vincenzo Lo Verso are the brains and backbone behind the Farmer’s Table operation, merging their vast experiences to yield dining destinations that represent their shared passion for the city’s culinary scene. As a dominant figure in San Diego’s restaurant realm, Morreale’s prowess shines through in all of his endeavors, including his co-ownership of the highly successful Hillcrest and Liberty Station Fig Tree Café locations, as well as his ownership of Farmers Bottega in Mission Hills. Executive Chef Lo Verso holds an extensive pedigree, having opened Hillcrest’s Fresh Catch Fish Market & Grill and serving as the owner of San Diego Dining Group, which operates Greystone Prime Steakhouse & Seafood, Osetra Seafood & Steaks, Osteria Panevino, and co-owner of the new restaurant Route 29.

Reminiscent of Farmer’s Table’s initial location in La Mesa, the Bay Park space touts charming farm-inspired décor indicative of the restaurant’s farm-to-fork focus, including upcycled fixtures such as a repurposed tractor, rustic wooden crates filled with greenery, old magazines curated into eclectic collages, and refurbished wood showcased throughout the space.

Featuring local flavors sourced from San Diego’s farming and sustainable food communities, Farmer’s Table specializes in dishes with integrity; an important and defining element of San Diego’s environmentally-conscious population. “’Honest food done right’ pretty much sums up our mission,” says Morreale.
