27 Local San Diego Public Libraries Will Host Sky Parties for the Solar Eclipse

pr During Monday’s solar eclipse, the San Diego Public Library will host Sky Parties for patrons across the City to experience this astral event. Programming will vary at each of the 27 participating locations, but each library will have a limited supply of viewing glasses for patrons to safely observe the solar eclipse. Some libraries will also have video monitors live-streaming NASA coverage from various points along the path of the total solar eclipse which starts in Oregon and ends in South Carolina.

Programs begin at 9:45 a.m. Peak solar eclipse viewing in San Diego will be at 10:23 a.m.
