Clairemont Act One Needs Your Help!

By Katie Turner, Past President, Clairemont Act One

Clairemont Act One is a community theatre group that has been in operation since 2011.  Our mission is to provide quality, affordable cultural events to the Clairemont area.  Until recently we have rehearsed in a member’s large, open basement, but unfortunately the house needed to be sold.  We are now in dire need of a place to rehearse.  Our modest budget and the scarcity of affordable space have left us with very few options.  If you or someone you know has an indoor, open-plan space that can accommodate approximately 20 people and is also available evenings and perhaps weekends, LET US KNOW!  Our current production of Neil Simon’s The Odd Couple (Female version) is in rehearsal from now until late April.  Spaces that could work include:

–          Basements with open floor plans

–          Offices with an open space of 500 sq ft or more

–          Warehouses/large garages

–          Meeting rooms or social halls

–          Banquet rooms in restaurants

We are a 501(c)(3) organization so donations of space are TAX DEDUCTIBLE!

For more information or to discuss donating the use of your space, please emailinfo@clairemontactone.org or call board member Michael Kowalski at 801-842-6094.

Thank you.
